Congratulations Birkenhead United AFC!
Community is at the heart of Chelsea Rise, which is why we're proud sponsors of Birkenhead United AFC. After an exceptional season, the Men's Premier Team has been crowned the 2026 Dettol Northern League Champions, with the trophy presented at the 8th of August home game.
Our own Darren and Jason Brown were there to celebrate alongside the team, supporters and the wider Birkenhead community. It was a privilege to witness such a special moment and celebrate an incredible season.
Next up is the National League, kicking off at the end of September, and we'll be cheering the team on every step of the way. Congratulations to everyone at Birkenhead United on a fantastic achievement.
The Crane is Down!
We're very pleased to tell you about another big Chelsea Rise milestone - but this time it’s about what’s coming down: Now that the roof is on and and the heavy lifting has taken everything to where it needs to be, the crane’s job is done…so down it came. It was an exciting moment when it went up, and even more exciting to see it come down as it means the move-in day for our owners is getting very close.
Under the new roof it’s a hive of activity, including:
- Windows have gone in all the way up to level 6, with our level 7 penthouse glazing underway
- Gib is done up to level 6
- The kitchens are in on level 1
- Bathrooms and balconies are tiled on level 1
- Painting is done to level 3
- The steel studs are almost complete on level 7
We're well on track for completion early next year.
