On Friday, Mayor Wayne Brown swapped his suit for gumboots, a hi-vis vest, and a hard hat to take a tour of our construction site.
Joined by North Shore ward candidate Danielle Grant and our Chelsea Rise project team, we gave Mayor Brown a behind-the-scenes look at our construction progress, and he spoke with us about his vision for Auckland’s growth. He praised Chelsea Rise for helping meet the city’s need for quality housing close to the CBD, especially with key projects such as the City Rail Network and Sky City’s Convention centre drawing more people to the region.
“It’s great to see projects like Chelsea Rise delivering well-designed homes that meet Aucklanders’ needs today and into the future,” said Mayor Brown during the visit.
Danielle Grant noted that she’s pleased to see our crane standing proud, as a clear signal of construction and activity in Birkenhead. "With up to 180 staff onsite during construction, this is an excellent boost to local businesses during this phase of development.”
Our sales momentum is right up there with our construction progress, too, as we’re seeing significant interest from North Shore locals, as well as people further afield drawn to Chelsea Rises ridge-top views, village location, versatile layouts, and low-maintenance lifestyle.
“We were proud to welcome Mayor Brown and Danielle Grant to our site and show them first-hand the progress our team is making,” said Darren Brown, our Lead Developer. “This project is a game-changer for Birkenhead, and their support reinforces the importance of what we’re delivering.”
Come and visit our showroom at 80 Mokoia Road, and while you’re there you can take a peep at the construction site for yourself.
